- THE INTERNATIONAL CLAN GATHERING IN EDINBURGH 2009
On the 25th and 26th July 2009 Edinburgh will witness one of the largest clan gatherings in history.
Holyrood Park will host a magnificent Highland Games over the two days, then on the Saturday evening Clan members will parade up the historic Royal Mile and take their seats on the castle esplanade for a spectacular Clan Pageant.

The Gathering 2009 is delighted to be one of the signature events of Homecoming Scotland. For further details on the full Homecoming Scotland program, available in late May, visit the Homecoming webpage.
- 470-Mile Pipers' March 2008 The British Army and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association have combined to create a Pipers' Trail (dubbed the Tattoo on Tour) which will see hundreds of pipers covering over 470 miles from Lerwick in the north to Ayr in the south. The showcase of military and civilian bands will end with a week-long stay in Edinburgh to coincide with the Fringe Festival which is held from the 3rd to 25th of August.

- THE DAVID BERRY CELTIC FESTIVAL. The Quartet from the Singers has been invited to perform at the Celtic Festival in Berry, on the south coast of NSW, on Saturday May 31st.
- OUR NEXT "NEW MEMBER" NIGHT is on Thursday June 5th, at our new rehearsal venue in the Argyle Centre, Blaxland Road, Ryde. If you're thinking of coming along and checking us out, please contact Bran on 0422 218 461.
- SGOIL GHEAMHRAIDH -- THE GAELIC WINTER SCHOOL. Bran from the Singers has collaborated with Pamela O'Neill, of Comunn Gàidhlig Astràilia, to design this year's Gaelic Winter School. Bookings can be made through the Comunn Gàidhlig website or via the downloadable information brochure and enrolment form at the Gailic Singers Website. Bran will be one of the teachers for the school, held over the June Long Weekend. This year, it will be at the Salvation Army Collaroy Centre at Collaroy Beach.
- THE SINGERS' SPRING CÉILIDH, 2008 will be held on the evening of Saturday September 20th. We'll be returning to the same venue: the Thornleigh Community Centre, on the corner of Phyllis and Central Avenues in Thornleigh.
